We’re a team of quantum punks exploring the wild frontier of quantum cryptography.

We believe that quantum technology can be deployed for the common good in the very near future, well before fault-tolerant universal quantum computing becomes available at scale. To this end, we are building novel cryptographic applications for both traditional and decentralized finance, uniquely secured by physics.

This blog chronicles our protocol research and our development of a full-stack contextual cryptography compiler. The blog is open to external contributors: if you’d like to write a guest post on contextuality, quantum cryptography, its applications, or the hardware involved, please see Contributing to the NeverLocal blog.

We are founding members of the Quantum Punks movement; for our manifesto and many introductory resources, see quantumpunks.org.
